What if I’m not comfortable with a patient’s issue?

You can request to have it re-booked with another provider in the event you notice before your appointment

Ie. you are an ER doc and its a family medicine oriented complaint

This does not mean you can simply ask for patients to be rescheduled for complaints you don’t like to deal with - it's meant to accommodate individuals that might be seeing patients outside of their scope of practice.
