Alberta Scheduling Calendar – FAQ
How do I schedule Alberta clinics?
- Open the Alberta Scheduling Calendar sheet. If you do not have access, email providersuccess.ca@rocketdoctor.io
- Locate the date you would like to schedule
- Use your MD ID number to reserve 30-minute increments corresponding to your clinic availability. If you do not know what your MD ID number is please email: providersuccess.ca@rocketdoctor.io
- If you prefer not to schedule directly, the PCC team can add or adjust hours on your behalf, simply message or email the team with your requested availability
What is the daily capacity threshold?
Each day will have a maximum number of physician hours available, based on expected patient demand. This helps ensure clinics are filled more consistently and helps reduce the risk of underfilled clinics.
What if the day I want is already full?
If the day has reached capacity, please add your name and desired hours to the waitlist section of the calendar. If capacity becomes available, our team will contact you to confirm whether you would still like to take those hours. Please note that joining the waitlist does not commit you to those hours.
Can I still adjust or add clinic hours after submitting them?
Yes. If you need to add, adjust, or remove hours, you can:
- Update the scheduling calendar directly
- Contact the admin team for assistance
How do I read the scheduling sheet?
Each day in the sheet includes:
- Total hours scheduled
- A daily capacity threshold (maximum recommended hours based on demand)
- A status indicator (e.g., Near Capacity, Max Capacity Breached)
To help guide scheduling, the calendar uses colour coding:
- Grey: Do not schedule: these time blocks are intentionally unavailable to help manage clinic concurrency
- Blue: Available: these slots are open for booking within the recommended capacity
- Green (with your MD ID): Confirmed: these are your booked clinic hours
