MDBILLING Ontario Setup

Rocket Doctor has partnered with MDBilling to streamline your claims process.
Submit OHIP claims directly through the platform—quickly and efficiently.

No invoices: Claims submitted through the Rocket Doctor platform are fully covered.
Important: You can log into MDBilling to edit or manage previously submitted claims. However, new claims created directly in MDBilling (not through the MD Portal—Starship) will incur charges.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Fill out the MDBilling signup form


Step 2: Set Up Your MCEDT Account

To connect with MDBilling and Rocket Doctor, you’ll need to:

Create your GoSecure / MCEDT account
🔗 Follow these detailed instructions

Add Rocket Doctor as a designee
This allows our admin team to validate OHIP health card numbers on your behalf.

After granting permissions:

  • Email: support@mdbilling.ca to confirm setup is complete
  • MDBilling will follow up to confirm your  account has been successfully connected

Step 3: Notify Rocket Doctor

  • Once everything is complete:
  • Email providersuccess.ca@rocketdoctor.io
  • Subject: MCEDT + MDBilling Setup Complete

✅ Then, mark this task as done in your onboarding checklist
