Enhancements - New billing integration with ClinicAid, and additional in-app billing capabilities


We are pleased to announce that we have successfully upgraded our billing integration with ClinicAid (powered by Doctor Care). If you have completed your onboarding process, you will now see the "New Billing" button reappear beside each appointment on your dashboard.


In addition, we have added several enhancements to improve your billing experience:

  • Referring Physician's MSP: You can now enter the referring physician's MSP number.
  • Submission type:
    • By default, all claims will display "Regular Submission".
    • If a claim requires resubmission, Doctor Care will manage this on your behalf.
    • If you need to resubmit the claim yourself, change the submission type to "Re-submission" and include the previous claim number in the Claim Comment section.
  • Additional diagnostic codes: You can now add up to three diagnostic codes per service code.
  • Claim comment:
    • You can add any supplementary notes related to each claim.
    • Remember to include the previous claim number if you are resubmitting a previous claim.


We will be rolling out additional enhancements in the future to further simplify your billing workflow and enhance overall efficiency.

Enhancements - Hide cancelled appointments and clinic hours in your Calendar


Your Calendar just got cleaner and easier to navigate! We’ve updated the Calendar feature to automatically hide any appointments cancelled by you or your patients, as well as clinic hours that have been cancelled.

 

In the past, cancelled items appeared as dark grey boxes, making it harder to view and manage your schedule. Now, your Calendar has more breathing room for the appointments and availability that matter most.

 

Want to see cancelled items again? Simply use the Filter option at the top right of the Calendar page. Under Provider Availability, select Cancelled, or under Appointment Status, choose Cancelled by Patient or Cancelled by Provider.

Enhancement - New user interface to save and manage appointment templates


The appointment template has been updated with a new user interface, providing an improved user experience for creating, saving, and managing your personal templates. Additionally, you can now easily access and select templates that are publicly managed by our staff. This update enhances your ability to customize appointments and streamline your workflow.

Enhancement - Patient documents are now ordered from newest to oldest, with document names displayed for easier identification

Enhancement - Add appointment status to the Appointments section in the patient chart


Each scheduled appointment in the Patient Chart now shows its latest status next to the date and time, providing a quick snapshot without needing to return to the Calendar.


Enhancement - Add patient email address to the Patient Detail Summary section in their chart


The Patient Detail Summary section in the Patient Chart now includes the patient’s email address next to their phone number, providing quick access without needing to open the profile for editing.


Enhancement - Preserve the last selected Calendar view preference (e.g. day vs. week)


The Calendar page has been enhanced to remember your last selected view preference, whether it's the day or week view. This update ensures that your preferred layout is preserved, streamlining your experience and saving you time.

Fixed - Discrepancy in displaying the patient's date of birth


Environments: Canada and the US

  • The one-day discrepancy in displaying the patient's date of birth has been resolved across multiple areas of the platform, including form generation. When using the Form Funnel feature to generate forms, the patient's date of birth will now display accurately.

Enhancement - Appointment location displays


Environments: Canada and the US

  • We updated the calendar feature as part of the calendar drag-and-drop bug fix (detailed below). This update changes how appointment location names appear on your dashboard. Instead of displaying "America/" with the capital city of the appointment location, the dashboard will now show the province or state name, simplifying location display.


Enhancement - Auto-population of CC Provider and CC Submitter IDs on Alberta's Microbiology Laboratory Requisition form


Environment: Canada

  • We have enhanced Alberta’s Microbiology Laboratory Requisition form to automatically populate the CC Provider and Submitter IDs you have configured on your Settings page. This ensures lab results are accurately directed and delivered back to you.


Fixed - Drag and drop to add availability


Environments: Canada and the US

  • The drag-and-drop issue for adding availability to your calendar has been resolved. When you drag and drop your availability, the pop-up will automatically show the selected start and end times.

  • BC Physicians were previously unable lto submit claims using the service code T13837 for patients over 80 years old. This issue has now been resolved.
