No-Shows and Cancellation Policy
No-Show Policy for Generalists:
Private pay appointment - If the patient was a no-show, we won't provide a refund, but the patient can still book another appointment as long they pay for another consult. MDs may also inform the PCC team if the no-show was valid or not.
Insured appointment - If the patient was a no-show, the patient will need to pay $40 prior to booking another appointment. MDs may also inform the PCC team if the no-show was valid or not.
Cancellation Policy for Generalists :
Private pay appointment - If a patient books an appointment and cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, Rocket Doctor reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the appointment. If a patient fails to book an appointment or cancels with more than 24 hours' notice, Rocket Doctor will withhold an administrative fee of $5.00 from their refund.
Insured appointment - Our PCC team will replace the cancelled slot with another patient as soon as possible.
Specialist MDs no-show and cancellation policy:
You may contact our specialist's admin team through specialists@rocketdoctor.io to inform them of your no-show and cancellation policy.
SUS MDs No-show and Cancellation policy:
Intake appointment - If a patient misses an intake appointment, our admin team will ask them to make a $100 deposit prior to rebooking, and if they show up on the next appointment, we will return their deposit, and if they don't, the provider will have their deposit. Providers may also inform the admin team through the SUS Slack group if the patient can rebook the appointment without making a deposit.
Follow-up appointment - $100 payment for 2 consecutive no-shows / <24hrs cancellation, but it's still up to the provider if they will be charging the patient or not prior to rebooking - MDs can reach out to our admin team through the SUS slack group about this.
