Limitations on services (Virtual Care)

Currently, Rocket Doctor does not service the following types of visits: 

Medical Emergencies 

Rocket Doctor is not intended for medical or psychiatric emergencies. Providers should advise patients to call 911 or proceed to their nearest emergency room if they are experiencing an emergency. Providers are expected to use their clinical judgment to determine what constitutes an emergency and err on the side of caution for patient safety, given the limitations within a virtual care context. 

Controlled Medications 

As described above, when using Rocket Doctor, providers should take caution and use discretion if prescribing narcotics or controlled substances.
