Aria MD Sleep
Aria MD Sleep - Alberta partnership
Sleep centres specializing in sleep study testing and sleep apnea treatments. They have 3 locations in Edmonton and 1 clinic in Calgary. Patients (typically unattached) will be directed from Aria MD Sleep to Rocket Doctor for:
- sleep study requisitions - MDs can refer to Aria for sleep testing if they feel it is appropriate
- sleep apnea treatment (ie CPAP rx, etc.) - MDs will be provided with the sleep study result including suggested CPAP parameters and can provide a prescription
- Patients will be marked as "Aria MD Sleep" along with the reason for visit.
- "Aria Sleep" has been added as a dropdown option in the Referrals form so the referral is readily faxed directly. Aria Sleep will contact the patient directly to select a clinic location and book the test.
- Prescriptions for CPAPs can be emailed to the patient; the prescription can be created similar to a medication prescription.
- Visits are billed as usual to AHCIP.
