How do I make a Referral from the RD platform?

To create a referral to any physician, watch this video.

Please ensure you add as much information into your referral letter, including:

• Clinical question
• Name of specialist if one is preferred; if none noted, please indicate the patient's location so the team can find someone nearby 
• If you feel the consult must be in-person
• Past medical history 
• Medications
• Relevant imaging and labs (can be attached at last step) 

Our Referrals Team will direct the referral to a Rocket Doctor specialist if available, based on the referral criteria and shortest wait-time. If the specialist is not available on the platform, or if it needs to be managed in-person, the team will direct outside the platform.
