Can I pause my account with Rocket Doctor to not incur EMR fees?
At Rocket Doctor, we are happy to accommodate pausing your account to ensure you are not charged EMR fees while on vacation or any other type of leave. In order to pause your account, we require that 30 days' advance notice is provided to our team in writing. This notice must be sent to the Provider Success Team (providersuccess@rocketdoctor.io).
For instance, if you plan to pause your account with us on April 1st, 2025, please inform our team by March 1st, 2025. Should you inform us any later than March 1st, you will be charged a portion of the April EMR fee prorated based on the date on which you inform our team (ex., if you informed us on March 15th that you’d like to pause as of April you will be charged a prorated amount for up to April 15th).
If you reach 3 months of being paused, the 4th month is when we will resume charging you for the platform fee (regardless of whether you are unpausing or not).
Once you reach 2 months of being paused, our team will reach out to you as a reminder that you have one more free month prior to being charged.
